Mike is amazing! He’s a humble super man type of person. He helped us move our functional trainer from one house to another and did it so easily. Mike gives great advice on all of your gym layout questions including flooring, and can put together or take apart any piece of equipment you have. My neighbor watched him work and immediately hired him to assemble some equipment that he had put off doing because he never found the right person. Now his problem is solved too. They handled everything for my gym move - disassembling, relocating, and reassembling commercial equipment - plus installing about 600 sq ft of rubber flooring and helping me furnish the space with additional equipment. My treadmill had been through two moves, disassembled with hardware scattered everywhere, and I thought it was beyond saving. Then someone referred me to Mike, with Top Notch Fitness Repair and he exceeded all expectations. He carefully assessed the treadmill and successfully moved it from our garage to our designated fitness room upstairs.

Mike and his assistant were professional, courteous, and incredibly meticulous. Despite the treadmill being a massive, gym-grade machine, they navigated the two parts up a narrow stairway with ease, causing no damage to the walls or railing—something a professional moving company had previously claimed was impossible.

Once it was in place, Mike expertly reassembled the treadmill, connected all the attachments to the motherboard, and thoroughly tested it to ensure everything worked perfectly. His pricing was fair, with all details disclosed upfront, so there were no surprises.

We are currently undergoing a massive expansion at The Fitness Factory of Charlotte and received very strong recommendations to hire Mike for well over 10,000 sq ft of turf and rubber flooring. Mike did an excellent job. He handled curveballs that were unknown to us and he is overall extremely knowledgeable about the gym industry. I had an excellent experience with Top Notch Fitness Repair and Service. What stands out to me is the integrity, communication and going the extra mile the technician displayed. The technician found that the problem that prompted the need for my treadmill service was due to a wire on the control board that had disconnected unbeknownst to me. The tech didn’t try to pretend I had other issues to have a chance at a higher service labor fee, etc. in fact they took the time to clean my machine and lubricate the treadmill deck. I appreciate the integrity and providing additional value. The tech also went the extra mile trying to resolve an issue with the treadmill maker honoring the warranty and had excellent communication throughout. I highly recommend this company!

Doesn’t get much better! I have worked with Mike over the past few years beginning with my first rower repair need. Every time I’ve reached out to him he has been very responsive and accommodating. He I very knowledgeable with everything fitness! I most recently needed my FT2 disassembled, moved and reassembled after having all new hardwood floors installed. Mike and his guys were punctual and took great care in moving and storing the equipment in my garage until the floors were completed. Even when the flooring company fell behind schedule, Mike was very accommodating with rescheduling to get me back up and running as quickly as possible. He is my go-to guy with anything fitness equipment related and I greatly trust his opinion and will most likely seek his advice when I am ready to upgrade my equipment. Thanks for always going above and beyond Mike. Great getting back to my workout routine again.
